No, but that's a cool name! I'll call them that and see what people do. They are so good!

I love those things. But, I never called them pie doodles. I always called them cinnamon pie crust. Unimaginative thing that I am.

My mom used to butter the pastry first and then add the sugar and cinnamon. She then would fold the dough over on itself into a roll that she flattened to some degree before she cut them into pieces. they baked for about 15 minutes or until they browned and we had a great treat. We called them them cinnamon pastry rolls.

my mom would roll out the extra dough sprinkle it with cinnamon and sugar then put pats of butter on it. she rolled it up and cut it in slices and bake. she called them pie cookies. they are one of my favorite memories. i wish i could duplicate them.

We always called them "Po' pie" because if you were eating that you couldn't afford the filling.

Nope my mom used to bake them and spread them with jellies and jams and called them tarts! Sounds VERY CREATIVE! As well as YUMMY! I'll keep that in mind when I give the left over baked scraps to my kids! THANKS!

we always called them cinnamon sticks. My mom would twist them.

i just call them bonus for the chef. also good with a little cheddar cheese
