I like this guy who I think likes me, but he has a g/f and he likes hanging around with the 8th grade "starfish"///"whale" and I dont know what to do about any of it. I want him to like me and I want to be with him but I dont know what to do.
Any suggestions???

library/kiss ideas were both BRILLIANT!!!! BUT NOOOO shelby had to go put our inside jokes on the INTERNET (whale=whor e and starfish= slu t) and ask RANDOM STRANGERS INSTEAD!!!! GRR and then YOU TRUST DEDE MORE THAN UR BFF TO HANDLE SCOTT!!! jeeze ur last name doesn't start with a k i would never have said that!!!! jeeeze woman!! ur such a .. a.. BARNACLE!!

What in the world is an 8th grade "starfish///whale"?? Are you referring to her as a whale, if so that is not very nice, sounds like you are a bit jealous.
If he has a girlfriend he obviously likes her for the time being. You are only in 8th grade and you have PLENTY of time for relationships and guys. Focus on school, extra-curricular activities, friends, etc. right now in your life.

Why would you want to be with someone who is already taken? And why would you want to be with someone who doesn't pay you any attention. You're young sweetie and you have plenty of time to grow up...but you don't want to go into high school with "man-theif" on your forehead or else you'll never have any friends. One day you'll meet a guy just for you, and he won't have a gf and you won't have to try to get his attention...you'll have it...and he'll make the first move so you won't have to.....your too precious to be wasting your time. OMG i have that same exact problem. The guy I like is really shy but so am I. And he's not in the Athena program(gifted and talented program) at my school so I might not ever talk to him. He is a close cousin to my freind though.
