We are involved in a lond-distance relationship but it started out as such. Until I am able to relocate we are 1,500 miles apart. We have been friends for over a year and within the last few months it became intimate.

sorry but if your that far apart, it most likely means she meet some else, if you where about to move, she might be having cold feet, but if nothing is planned...stop calling her and see what happens, long distance never works forever, and it may work it self out later.

Try NOT to think negatively. Sometimes people just need a break to think certain things over about themselves or their lives. It doesn't always mean that there is something wrong with the relationship. A long distance romance can be touch because you are not able to be there for each other emotionally as would in person. Give her the time she needs, but remain supportive, communicative and understanding.

Long distance relationships rarely have happy endings...too much lonliness and frustration...how long before you can relocate? Does "intimate" mean you've been together in person or just had phone sex?
Be prepared for it to be over...and try not to have any hard feelings...long dist. situations are a lot to ask of anyone, especially if they are quite drawn out and the couple has never met or didn't know one another in person when it started.

I'm going thu the same thing myself only difference is that she's like an 1 hour away from me and since the start of the new year she told me that she wanted to be left alone to clear her mind and that she does not want to be around ppl...now this she tells me over an email. But I've wanted to call her or talk to her in person about it but she's not open about it. Just let her have her space and after a while if she does not call you back then find a way to meet in person or something and talk about it.

well when i tell a guy that it means that ima about to break up with my guy because i cant handle it anymore but 99% of the time when a girl says i need time to think things over it means shes thinking about a way to break it to u that its over im not tryin to scare u im just statein the truth with me being a girl and all hope this helps.

It could just mean she has some problems that have nothing to do with you. Maybe her parents or friends. She just wants some time to think it over.

Generally it can mean she is having seconf thoughts and is removing herself from you so that she can seperate her feelings, just try and be patient. Don't push her too much and tell her that you will be there for her.
