i met someone on myspace and he lives a few states away. we developed a relationship but we've never actually met in person. we talk a lot but recently he has been ignoring me because whenever i send him a message he never responds anymore. and over the summer we got really close. my other problem is he gave me his number and i'm afraid to call him because my parents will be very upset with me if they learn that i met someone on the internet and called him. someone please help, i desperatley need advice.

some people seem to be taking it the wrong way. i wouldn't call him without letting my parents know first. and he doesn't know any more about me than what i've told him. and i haven't told him where i live or anything, he just knows i live if a different state.

personally. i wouldnt trust ANYONE on the internet; especially if i've never met them; just at least once. you'll meet someone better, dont go for someone online. its better for a relationship where you are able to physically be with someone other then talking via typing... right? and if he tells you certain things; you cant be sure that he's being honest because typing doesnt show sincerity. hope i helped. <3

2 years ago here in my hometown, there was a story that made the front pages of quite a few newspapers... It appears this young woman met this guy one the Internet. Long story short: they met. She disappeared. She still hasn't been seen... her sisters and parents have no idea where she is....
Now.... you guessed it! That's why your parents would be upset about you meeting someone on the Internet! So, being a parent myself, and you are asking for advice...... Let it go. Drop it. Meet someone through friends or any other way in person, not on the Internet.
You see, the way I see it, if you do call this guy and work it out to meet him, having your parents upset at you may just be the least of your worries.....

First, don't EVER call someone that you met online. Or give that person your number. You don't really know who you are talking to. Second, if you are sending him messages and he isn't responding, he might not be interested anymore. You sound young, so please leave this person alone, and don't talk to people you don't know over myspace or the Internet!!!!!!!!

You have to be careful on who you meet over the net cause they could be crazy and you don't even know it.
You are young I see so you might be a little implussive.
If he has been ignoring you everytime you send him an e-mail then take it as a sign that this is something you don't want to get involved in.

look if u have a cell phone call him and just say that ur friend lives there and u met them thruogh somebody but this is internet and it will never work through internet ppl lie and cheat and plus never see them!!!get over him!
