My puppy just went into heat at 8 months. We had to keep the puppy/pad sanitary belt on her for about 3 weeks and make her sleep in her small carrier. Instead of buying puppy sanitary pads, just buy the light days women's pads and cut them into halves. Works great and saves alittle money also. if your puppy does go into heat before they are fixed, you'll have to wait till after their heat is over and then another month for the swelling to go down before your pet can be fixed.

Have her spayed asap! Most dogs go into their first heat at 6-8 months old.

She could have already had a heat cycle and you didn't know it. They usually go into heat at around 5-6 months old. contact your vet NOW to get her spayed

It is suppose to be 6months but my dog was 10 months. I think it depends on the dog but it should be between 6 - 12 months.
