There is a girl I go to school with who I have liked for a number of years and have never gotten the cajones to ask her out. I want to know how I should go about asking her out when I'm not sure how much she likes me

u need to go to her BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST VERY CLOSE friend and ask her to ask THIS GIRL if she likes u. Ask her to make sure it sounds like u never asked. If the answer is no. SRRY if the answer is yes then ask her out if the answer is kind of ask her out. If the answer is maybe first try being her friend then ask her to go out when u fell the love. If she chose yes then the next day put on boy perfume dress to impress and go for it. Say I really like u alot ( now tell her y u like her) so would u go out with me. I promiss ( give her a promiss) So ......will u go out with me?

I am a girl and believe me no matter who asked me out I would be thrilled that someone liked me that much. Also, it isn't like girls don't know how hard it is to ask someone out....it's like that for everyone.
Think of something that would be just like relaxing and fun for the 2 of you to do. Ex. Movies. Find a movie that she would like and get a couple times so you can give her some options.
Just go up to her and before you have time to think just say, "Hey! I was just wondering if you wanted to go to see 'name of movie here' this weekend." If she says yes and asks what time just say well we could at ___ or ___ which works for you?
That's how I would want someone to ask me.

If you think she might not like you, be prepared to get rejected. I don't want to sound mean, but it is the truth. But if you're a good guy, with a big heart, then you don't have anything to worry about. Just think of a cute way to show her you care, and remember you live once. Don't let the opportunity pass you by.

you should ask her nicely , by going up to her and starting a convsertion with her first to find out if she likes you back if she does, ask her out by asking if she would like to go to the movies or for coffee some time.
Than if it works out you might end to be girl friend / boy friend.

do your best to get closer to this girl...think of reasons to be in the same places she is and always start up a conversation with her...become friends first...then if you still feel the same way about her...one day when you are just talking about "whatever" ,
slip these words into your conversation. "I would really like to take you out sometime..I think you are an awesome person and was wondering if you might think about going on a date with me."

If hes anything like me, he might be realli shy to ask u out. have u asked him out before? u sed it ended badly, is that the same guy? If you wanna drop hints, i guess just talk to him everyday, i remember dis girl who had a crush on me IMs me everyday. or, tell ur friends, and the information will eventually reach him lol.

That she likes you or not is not at issue except in your mind as is your long term aspirations.
Under the assumption you know some interests she has say:
"Althea. There a ___________ tomorrow night I'm going to, are you free to go as well? "
Worst answer: No I'm not free"
In between: "Not free tomorrow but another time?
Best: "I was planning to go. Let's go together."

just go up to her and talk to her like you are best friends then just say hey do want to go out and if she says no just change the subject and talk about other stuff trust me us girls have the same probs

welll just buy her something like flowers and then ask her. the worst thing that will happen is she will say no and youll never know if you never try
