This is very common in multi-cat houses.
You need to give some of the cats away and seek counseling.
You have a disease. It's called "hoarding"
The SPCA will re-home the pets.
Get yourself healthy, then get 1 or 2 cats.

I am a cat lover and know how quickly having 2 cats can lead to 8. I have had 11!!! I know alot of people have had more. The problem you have is only a time consuming one as all the cats will have to be treated. They are giving the infection to one another. When one of my cats has had eye problems I dissolve salt with boiling water and when it is cool go over the eye with cotton wool soaked in the solution. It wont hurt your cats. It may take a few days to see the result........CATS RULE

Maybe you should check out your house for any dripping fluids or anything that is man-made, most animals while living together usually don't carry the disease to the others but if the cat isn't living in a clean, well-ventilated area, this can cause a lot of problems for you and your cat. If anything get some Nui 100% pure organic coconut oil and lightly put some on the infected area, make sure you wash your hands after each application and maybe put some into its food source. I hope they get better as it sounds like an awfully lot of pain for them.

Take one cat to the vet, the one with the worst of it and split the meds up between them, it will probably be a big tube of eye ointment, enough for them all to get better. But if you are really concerned, take them all in, it is a price you pay to be a responsible pet owner.

Purchase a box of plain, natural camomile tea from the grocery store. Brew up a pot of tea and let it cool down. Take some cottom swabs or the end of a face cloth, soak it in the tea and wash your cats eyes. You just need to swab the dripping cloth over their eyes enough for some of it to get in. It's a great alternative medicine treatment and doesn't cost much.

all of the kitties need to be seen by a vet and be treated with an antibiotic and cat eye drops made for cats. Don't use any human medicines because it can kill cats. Call a vet and they can verify this statement as proof.

you need to get special antibiotic drops from the vet take one cat in explain to the vet that all of your cats have the same infection with all of the same symptoms and he will give you enough for all of them...the infection is highly contagious and this is why it passed on to all of them
