Luke 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

WHY do So Many People Miss THIS? YOU NEED TO TELL THIS ALSO!

(John 3:18-19-20) He that believeth on him is not condemned: = = but he that believeth not = = is condemned already, = = because he hath not believed in the name = = of the only begotten Son of God.

(Joh 3:19) And this is the condemnation, = = that light is come into the world, = = and men loved darkness rather than light, = = because their deeds = = were evil.

(Joh 3:20) For every one that doeth evil = = hateth the light, = = neither cometh to the light, = = lest his deeds should be reproved.

Thanks, RR

Pretty awesome, huh. Amazing grace!

If we are predestined to be saved by the blood of Christ, which I believe, then Jesus had me on his mind when he suffered such a brutal sacrifice. Gotta love'm!

thank you for sharing that...i remember listening to some stupid 'discussion' on some radio show about 'the passion of the Christ' and who was responsible for Christ's death-the Jews or the Romans, and it struck me that I, myself, was responsible...my sinful ways required Christ to die in order for me to be redeemed and made whole...it was a sobering thought, and an incredibly painful one...and it also revealed the wonder of God's tremendous love for me, that He was willing to let His son die that way for me...

Beats my sack..... "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved"..... All we have to do is believe in Christ!!!! No amount of physical work will get us closer to salvation. No amount of sin will get us farther than salvation. WHY? B/C JESUS IS ALL WE NEED

Yes I do. That is why I believe in his sacrifice on the cross and his gift of salvation.

I have heard that one many times.

Given I do not believe the bible is more than a book, I do not think jesus was thinking of me when he was dying.

Here's the difficulty. There are people who don't believe in God. Consequently, the Bible doesn't speak to them in quite the same way as it seems to speak to you.

Yes, I believe and appreciate the sacrifice that Jesus did die so that we may be counted as God's friends and have our sins forgiving freely.
