Well, I regret my first time. It wasn't bad or anything, but I didn't really have anything left to explore once I married my husband.
I wasn't a slut or anything and practiced safe sex, but I really felt like I "threw away" something worth giving to the person I loved.
Also, there are consequences to having sex, which I'm hoping you both know already. If I had it to do over again, I would have waited. I wouldn't have felt weird that he had already lost his or anything.
But, then again, how would you know what you liked and disliked about having sex if you don't try it?
All in all, I think it is up to the person. Are they ready to accept the thing's that come with sex? Are they willing to go through all that just to have done that "already"? (For Christian's) Will guilt eat at you until you make it right?
You need to talk to her a little more and make sure she understands everything you are feeling and thinking when it comes to having sex, and make sure she knows what it's gonna take to pop that cherry.

Theres really no age to loose your virginity. You shouldnt do it if you feel pressure or if your not ready. Also dont say things in the heat of the moment when you do it. A girls first time is very special for her. Most girls remember there first and how it was. If you dont want to do then you need to tell her that. Remember when you do have sex be safe about it.

Well, you guys are only 18 and 17. It's adults, but still. Have you guys talked about it? Do you know how your going to parent the child if your protection (if you use it) will work? Do you know anything about it? You should make sure, that you know everything that would happen. But, I still think when your ready.
My op ion would be, finish college, and get a job, so you could support your baby.
Good luck! =)

It is perfectly normal whenever you're ready, but, and the only reason why I'm saying this is because I don't know what your situation is, but I'd wait till she's 18 also unless your statitory rape laws are in your state wherever you live. I know it's kind of a shisty thing to say but got to be lookin out.

The best time is when you are married. OR - when you know the person is 100% there for you always. So, if you are going off to college and will have to leave her.. maybe you shouldn't. Or, if you want to marry her someday, you love and she loves you, she is on the pill, then go ahead. In my opinion 17 and up is old enough to get it on... Good Luck

I think that 18 is a good age. It's still scarey. Not many girls wait as long as she has. Maybe she wants the rose petals and candles for her first time. She wouldn't tell you something like that though cuz she just wants you to do it, cuz you're romantic...wink wink

is this girl someone that you would want to marry....never sleep with anyone that you would not marry....and be safe...with sex comes the responcibility of possibly becoming parents ...personally, i pray that you two wait until you become married and if marriage is not an issue...sex certainly should not be either...good luck and God bless

I say loose it when u get married and if u don't feel comfortable having sex then don't do it and tell her that and if she cares enough for you then she would listen and respect ur decision.
