after all if you're gonna use the bible to say what is good or bad, you then would be in favor of selling your first daughter to slavery (Exodus 21:7-11) stone your brat son to death (Leviticus 20:9) killing anyone who works on a Saturday (Exodus 35:2) and to send anyone who ever played football to hell, because "touching a pig's skin is an abomination" (Lev.11:6-8). So if you're gonna say that homosexuality is bad because the bible says so, then you must also agree with the previous statements

ROFL, yes, people use what conveniently fits in with their own prejudices or beliefs... the rest they throw out with the bath water, or never bother to even find out for themselves. They just "ditto" whatever someone else tells them....
One of my dogs is named Leviticus and you would not believe how many "uber Christians" are stunned that his name is a book in the bible, much less a list of "laws"! Go figure!

Please do not take the bible literally. There is so much stuff in there that would get you thrown in jail. It was only ment as a general guideline.
You know of those religious fanatics that were protesting at the dead American soldiers funeral. Well that's what happens when the bible is taken word for word.

I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person. You can't pick and choice what you like in the Bible and decide to follow it.
