that's ok most girls do more talking .....as long as you show her you are interested she will be happy.......

Maybe you both need to get out more and spend more time together rather than talking on the phone. Some people feel that talking on the phone is not the most productive communication method. The one who does most of the talking may just be insecure. It has to get better with time I would think.

Tim is that you? She told me about that. Yeah. Go to the library and check out a neat little red book called "20 Questions." It's full of conversation starters. Stick it in your back pocket and pull it out when you all talk. Also, considering saying, "Baby, I love you and I don't want you to get bored, or feel I don't want to talk to you, but sometimes, I just like to know you there, feel you breath, you know? And although I may not say much, my love speaks volumes....plus I can be a quiet guy and I'm glad that in you, I've found a girl who's comfortable with that, because you make me feel really comfortable babe? Do you know what I'm trying to say? Wow, ha! ha! I said a mouthfull, huh? But do you know what I mean baby?"

Fun topics to talk about that don't end up with an one word answer.
Movies you want to see, or have seen. Funny parts of a movie you have both seen. Music you like or don't like. Music videos that you have both seen. Fun places to go to together. Stuff that happened to you during the holidays or weekend, that may be funny. Just don't be too serious because that leads to bordom.
Just relax, most girls love to monopolize the conversation because they are happy to talk to you. So you pretty much could just keep doing whatever you are doing if she keeps calling you. She must be enjoying you regardless of how much you say.

aww thats sweet. First realize that guys in general aren't very good on the phone, so don't feel bad. Secondly, asking her about her day and letting her vent to you if she's had a bad day will win you major brownie points. If that doesn't work, make plans (because we all know guys arent really good at that), just make plans to do something with her, call her up, just tell her what's going on. That way all the talking happens in person than on the phone.

Usually the start of a conversation is "how are you doing" and "what did you do today". Try doing something new or trying something new (examples-exercising, food, drinks, movies, games, meeting new people, driving anywhere new, or clothes). Then when you talk to her you will have something to talk about so she wont be the only one talking. You know what else you could listen to music, pick a song she hasn't heard and ask her to listen to it...play it loud enough so she can here it and then ask her what she thinks about it. Try that i hope it helps!

well the solution to your problem is quite simple! The first time i had a boyfriend, my head went blank as well. Ask her what type of music she likes, things like that . simple questions. I am a girl so i would know these thinggs~

As long as you are listening, and she's happy, don't worry about it. Jot down things to say when you think of them, and keep it in your wallet, so when you are on the phone, you have it to refer to. Relax and enjoy your girlfriend.

Women love to talk, you can always keep on asking her questions about herself. It sounds like you want her to know more about you, though, so I would follow up whatever you ask her about herself with what you like (i.e. What are your favorite types of movies? Mine are...)

i think you are trying to hard if you will just ease up and relax you could tell her about your day or any thing she just wants to talk to you it doesnt have to be an intellegent conversation. it doesnt even have to be a interesting conversation. she just wants to talk to you about whatever.
