i love ramen noodles; easy to make, cheap and tastes gooooood.
i think they're so cheap because the portion is so small.... and the ingredients used are simple.

They're flour, water, oil, and salt. There's room to move on that. But I agree, it does seem like just the packaging machine would cost more than 11 cents per package!

Because the ingredients to make them are cheap .. flour, water .. the seasoning is mostly salt and dried spices ... they really are yum at a great price!

They ARE good. I like the cup ones. So convenient! Yum. I'm going to see if we have some here.
Just checked. My husband bought the shrimp flavored. Ugh! Nothing worse than those!

Flour and water are very inexpensive. One of the cheapest meals you can make is anything with pasta... One reason Italian restaurants make such big bucks !!!

B/C JAPAN MAKES THEM AND IT IS JUST NOODLES AND SALT AND YOU PAY FOR THE WATER **** GET IT OUT OF A PUDDLE AND IT WILL TASTE EVEN BETTER... YOU KNOW WHY B/C IT IS CHEAPER!!!

Because they have virtually no nutritional value. They are carbohydrates, salt and seasonings.
