The weather can really vary. A good guesstimate would be somewhere between the mid-70's to mid-80's and humid. Thunderstorms are sporadic since they come in on occasion from the gulf. At other times, there will be month-long droughts.

I'm guessing you are thinking about going for Jazzfest. People are generally going to be running about in t-shirts (or the female equivalent), shorts, and such during the day. Me, I'll also be sporting my SPF 60.

It can go from being a lovely warm spring day to being super hot!!! Either way, you'll need to wear sunscreen! Walking around in the heat isn't so bad as long as you're prepared.

Take your thickest blanket and soak it in hot water, then wrap it around your head and sit under some heat lamps.

Do that and you will come close to how hot it gets here in May.

hmm, i like it but thats because i really hate the cold. Some times it gets ridiculously hot. Its really humid too. Not usually too rainy. Spring and summer are both super sticky, so i guess its kind of gross, you get used to it though.
