First off, I wouldn't call this an all or nothing situation. I think that there are some lingering questions in my mind about his actions. You said you had been dating for a year and that he goes home for all breaks, but has he ever invited you? Instead of assuming he's weird, maybe he's just close to his family. I don't know your respective ages, but if he's just out of college he might still be separating himself from his family. If I were you, I would ask him about becoming more intimate. I know some guys who are very respectful of the women they date seriously. They don't want to wreck anything by making the wrong move. Others have standards they are upholding in line with their own morals. Feel free to e-mail! :)

Well he is either one who does not like confrontation or he is just someone who took the easy way out......easier to do on the phone....you can end the conversation at any point you chose....and you don't have to be confronted with the emotions of the one being dumped....

I did that b4, but with a reason. She was rarely at home, but was on her phone all the time. It was the easiest way to get her. But i can tell you that when i dumped her she knew well enough to stop what she was doing and find me.

please. stop worrying about guys and start enjoying the single life. who made it a mandate that you HAVE to have a boyfriend? Trust me on this one girl, you WILL get married and your husband is gonna be awesome. But once you get married, there's no turning back, marriage is forever (and don't give me this divorce crap. What God has joined together let no man separate, look it up it's in the bible). So enjoy the single life now, worry about boys later.

If he lives local to you, and could have broken up with you face-to-face, then he's a coward. It's a lousy way to handle a break up. People who cannot end a relationship properly (with dignity and respect for the other person) shouldn't date at all.

A coward. He wants to hide something otherwise he wouldn't go back on his word. Don't let it get to you, if he can't face you to dump you (for whatever reason he may have) he doesn't deserve your time.
