Like if the space to squeeze by someone is really small that you have to go sideways cause the width of your shoulders wont fit, is it more polite to face them or to face away from them. In other words, especially when the person is sitting like in an airplane, bus, or train, should you brush them with your crotch or with your ***?

Whether they are facing toward or away from you, you should face toward them and as you pass them you should put your hands behind your head with your elbows out and start thrusting your hips forward. As you're doing this sing a sexually suggestive song...maybe something like "my lovely lady lumps" or if you're a guy you could sing "I'm bringin sexy back."

Hope this helps.

You should definitely face the person and smile and look slightly guilty as if you weren't aware that you were going to get yourself into such a tight squeeze until you got there!! The worst thing you could do would be to face the person and look annoyed like the situation is their fault or that they are being the nuisance.
If you do not face the person, they will assume and imagine that the look on your face is one that says you either don't care how ignorant you are being or that they are so offensive that you can't even face them. I believe many people have a fear of being repulsive to others so facing the person is important. I have also found that even when you are a little bit in the wrong socially, as long as you smile and look sorry, most people except the very hard hearted are very forgiving.

well, for the sake of your question, if you are in either bus or train or plane, you will envitably bump one person with your buttocks and the other with your crotch. Its an isleway, therefore you usually have someone on either side of you any way. But it would be customary and necessary that if you are in route to the lavatory then if you must brush against them, do so with the end that wont be relieved upon relaxing in the necessary room. Expellant (even accidental), is always rude in someones face.

Facing away would be the more yielding posture but if your not comfortable with this I would think it'd be okay either way. The etiquette issue was lost when they built the train or plane...or whatever with such small aisles.

I would face a man, and turn my back to a woman. This is respectful, and polite to both sexes.

I'd face the person, if only because I don't like people behind me. also, if you're facing them you stand a better chance of not brushing into them if you can aviod it because you can see where they are

I think that slightly before you approach them you should speak to them and then turn sideways to get by. It don't think that you should ever touch a stranger with your private parts. That would be inconsiderate. May God Bless U.

Usually, you face away from the person.

I think with your back facing them so you aren't breathing in each others face and to protect the goodies.

You do not face the person.
Same idea at the movie theater in close quarters.
