My husband is almost done with his third tour and i work for a law firm in ca. I want a change and an idea of what iraq is like, so i want to go work there for a bit.

A note about bases in Iraq. Bases change hands between Marines and Army as different units rotate in and out. I was at a base near Fallujah that the Marines held at the time but an Army division (I think it was the 101st) had before them.
KBR isn't the only contractor in Iraq. ITT had a lot of communications contracts and people who were good with network stuff worked at bases all over Iraq.

Honestly there aren't any civilian contractors that I have ever heard of that will let a women go into a combat zone, for whatever reason. You can do your research and ask around within the contractor world, but I'm sure you will get the same response: keep the home front safe.

Go down there and support Bush, Marine base, you make me sick, stay in your country where you belong. The Iraqi people don't want any of you there, Is it not obvious enough for you that American soldiers are dying. Or are you one of those sick women who enjoy torture.You need to wake up and stop being a slave thats my answer.
