Don't mean to sound like I'm bagging on you dude, but that's like asking why the letter 'Z' in the word "tobasco" is silent....

It's like this...everybody has a different preference, and people from your next door neighbor to Joe Blow down the road is going to tell you that "XYZ paintball gun is the best because blah blah blah blah....."

I'd say that the answer you're looking for depends on 1. What you like--2. What your skill level with a paintball gun is, and 3. How much are you willing to spend.....in addition---what kind of guns are your team members using? How do they like the equipment they use...is there alot of downtime or repairs? That's some of the stuff you have to take into consideration....I could say that an Angel is the best, for example....maybe the best gun, but not necessarilly the best gun for you....I'd advise you to do some research at the local paintball store ...test out some of the goodies they have to offer....check on a few websites to see what they have to offer....it'll help to know some of this stuff down the road when some dork tells you some shiny, cool looking got-all-the-bells-and-whistles piece of crap is the best....but you'll know otherwise....

Good luck and good hunting!

Woodsball = Tippmann
Recball = Any lightweight, affordable, and moderately fast gun
Speedball = None

There is not best gun for speedball and I will tell you why. Havent you ever wondered why the pros never use the same gun. Different guns are BETTER than others for DIFFERENT THINGS. For example, the WGP karnivor is the fastest gun in the world. The Egos, Shockers, and Dyes and known to be very accurate, fast, and reliable. So i'm saying there is no best gun for speedball.

Wrong. There are not different types of guns for different things. Any player can use any gun for any type of game. It's all about personal preference. Someone might like a Shocker better than an Ego, all depends on the player. Remember, its not the gun that makes you better, its yourself.
