Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14:

"Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it."

Who are the ones travelling through the narrow gate?
Jehovah's Witnesses, no doubt about it. Feel free to tag along.

I love them just as Jesus loved his followers. They are all my Spiritual family of brothers and sisters and we are a united brotherhood, fully equipped to do Jehovah's will and will continue to preach the good news of his Kingdom to all nations until the Great Tribulation begins. Matthew 24:14 & Matthew 28:19

Thomas A: The things that you said about Jehovah's Witnesses is totally off. You are indeed talking about the Mormons. Please don't mix these two groups up together. JW's teachings are from the Bible, Mormon's teachings are from the Book of Mormon.

I love the people of the jehovas witness church. I have know many of them and they are really great people most often. I do not want a single one to suffer the eternal fires of hell and total seperation from God. That is why i am telling them to dig in a do research and get the truth about there faith. You know i have known God for 40 plus years and i know that out time is coming to a end very soon. I had two young black men that live across the way from me a few years ago and i hired them to mow my lawn as they were trying to make money for the summer. I really liked those young men and there father. I was so unset to hear the actually went to the JW church. The JW taught that blacks could not be saved. That they were black as a sin of rejection, and are the lintage of cain. They aslo said they were not human. Then a few years ago in the 40 the JW noticed there numbers were dropping and now they have changed there thinking on the blacks. But to this day not on black person set at the highest levels of the JWs. If you are WJ for goodness sake get on the internet and just do some research you might want to go to www. watchthetower .com in hell is not the right time to find out you are going to have to stay there. Hell is real and it is forever. God bless you all.

As long as they keep to themselves, it is fine. I don't understand parts of their religion, but I don't see the logic in a lot of religions. That is the nature of religion. Some things defy logic, lol!
Anyway, they only bother me when they come to my house. I understand that someone else tells them to go out and bother people... and they do it no matter what the danger that awaits them...
I do not appreciate them bugging me, or getting my dogs all worked up, and I certainly do not need to hear about their beliefs and have no need to challenge theirs. I usually offer them a glass of cider "to go" and remind them that there is a "no solicitation" sign up at the driveway. I do not expect them back, and remind them they will be considered trespassers if they do come back. If they are having car troubles or anything other than soliciting, then they are welcome and I will gladly help them. Other than that, they need to bugger off!

We are not as dumb as some people would think. :-)

People don't understand that Jehovah had Witnesses long before our Christian Brotherhood adopted the name in 1931.

"“YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that YOU may know and have faith in me, and that YOU may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none. 11 I—I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior.” -Isaiah 43:10

The whole nation was a Witness to God superiority and Godship at that time.

Questions like this imply that Jehovah's Witnesses are interested in becoming popular, but that is simply not true. The ONLY opinions of ongoing interest to a true Witness are those of Jehovah and Christ Jesus. Those who work to ingratiate themselves with some human or human group are not doing God's will.

(1 Thessalonians 2:4) We speak, as pleasing, not men, but God, who makes proof of our hearts.

(Matthew 6:20,21) Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Jehovah's Witnesses have the true religion. They are Christian (of course), but they are unique for their rejection of paganisms, use of God's personal name, and global preaching by every active adherent. No other religious organization can claim such purity of worship.

These facts about Jehovah's Witnesses are perhaps relevant to this question. The more one compares this Christian religion with others, the more remarkable it is shown to be.

1. Jehovah's Witnesses have no paid clergy. Yet they remain tightly organized with more than 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness preachers (about 16 million associate themselves with the religion). Even fulltime preachers and workers at their branch offices are unpaid volunteers.

2. There is no elite class among Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the few 'anointed' among them enjoy no special privileges in their congregations on earth. An anointed person (one of those relative few with a heavenly hope) is not elevated above his fellow congregants in any way, and he may not even qualify for appointment as a simple 'deacon' or elder. There are no titles; EVERYONE is addressed as 'brother' or 'sister'.

3. No person benefits economically from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the 8 to 20 men who serve on their Governing Body receive simply room, board, medical care, and reimbursement for certain personal expenses according to the exact same provision as every other branch volunteer.

4. About a hundred men have served on Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body committee during the past 125 years or so. The vast majority of them have spent the vast majority of their adult lives volunteering for their organization's purposes, and the vast majority have died faithfully and near-pennilessly while still under their legal 'vow of poverty'.

5. Amazingly, Jehovah's Witnesses did not splinter as a sect from some other religion. Instead, a truly tiny but sincere group of bible students studied only the Scriptures to determine the will of God. Thus their religion remains absolutely independent of and not carrying the sins of Christendom's history, yet carries the authority of Christ's teachings.

6. Despite the distortions of anti-Witnesses, throughout their modern history Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to claim divine inspiration or infallibility for their teachings. They have pointed to the bible (and not any particular translation) as the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's thoughts. For over 125 years, their teachings have been presented as merely the results of sincere bible research by imperfect but godly humans.

They're ok. I understand that they're required to try and "save" as many people as they can. I understand their beliefs, being that I have a friend who's a JW, and I respect them for their loyalty and faith.

Whatever we feel is not what matters. What I would propose to a JW is to be open to the idea that God can speak to him/her. I would also propose the idea that God's sheep know their Pastors voice. I would also suggest that they try to listen to God directly at least once and see if they can recognize the sheperds voice in the other parts of their lives.
