The Mars Bar or Mars is a chocolate bar manufactured by Mars Incorporated. It is made of chocolate-malt nougat topped with a layer of caramel and covered with milk chocolate.
The Mars Bar formerly sold in the USA (renamed "Snickers Almond") was slightly different from the Mars Bar still sold in other countries, which does not contain almonds. It has been sold elsewhere as "Mars Almond".

Gee, I hadn't realized they'd changed the name (looks like it was in 2000). The Mars bar was always my favorite, but haven't had one in a long time. Now I'll know to look for the "Snickers Almond"... I wouldn't like it nearly as well without the almond on top like I guess it's sold in Europe, and a plain Snickers doesn't do it for me either.
As for availability, they should be most anywhere candy bars are sold, unless there isn't a large assortment in that spot.

They're now known as Snickers Almond ... Or you can buy the British version (still called Mars) on E-bay.

This could be true, or an urban legend. But it is true that the FDA allows a certain amount of rat hairs and bug parts in every candybar or other food item.

If you don't find them come to Canada.
You can buy them anywhere here, every convenience store, grocery store, supermarket....even Walmart has Mars Bars!

yeah i used t ohear of them all the time in the 90's
i duno i dont eat candy, im pretty sure you can get it anywhere though.

oh yeah.the mars bar is delich.i'm not sure there still in the stores though.its been years since i had one.maybe you could google it.
