it could happen, but possibly when a person does not have
live spirituality by their own and personal experience, rather when they had learned how to be spiritual from 'theory'

I used to be a "strong believer" in Christ and Jehovah. I used to sound like some of the people on here, I used to talk like some of the people on here (the "true believers" and fundies).
Im now a Weak Atheist with Satanic beliefs.
You don't have to be Theistic to be spiritual, look at Buddhists.

Well anything's possible and I do believe that a complete believer could become an atheist (although I'm sure it's rare) but probably only if something really horrible, or a series of horrible events, happened to them.

Ask Dan Barker. He was a fundamentalist Christian (I think he was even a pastor) who became an atheist and wrote a book called "Losing Faith in Faith."

Yes...
People who have witnessed many miracles and seen angels have later turned away from religion because Satan was able to convince them that the things they witnessed were not true...
1. Who am I that an Angel spoke to me?
2. Who am I that I should be healed/cured/saved/etc?
.. etc...
and their faith withered and grew weak...
Other people have been drawn away from religion by family crisis in which they worked or were unable to attend regular Church meetings to strengthen their own faith.. and in time their faith faded and their belief died.

A strong believer doesn't make you a Christian. I think people often confuse the two. The only thing that qualifies you as a Christian, according to the bible, is placing your faith in Christ. Once you do that you are sealed in Christ never to be seperated.

Silly character. Proof is the weight of the believer. I don't need to furnish evidence that there's NO god. Think of it just like the regulation -- one is blameless till verified responsible. God does not exist till there's evidence that one exists.

Oh it's entirely possible for someone to really believe in a religion and then later on reject it. Take a look at http://www.Ex-Christian.net
