I came to college with no idea what to major in. I took an Introduction to Psychology class and thought maybe that's my calling so I'm taking more in the subject.

I'm going to a college that's not that well-known and didn't require really high SAT or ACT scores, but there were no prerequisites for me.

Typically to take a basic psych class (probably 101 or so) you just need to be enrolled in the college. Higher level courses would probably require prerequisites, but just to take any psych class all you need to do is get into a college that offers psych classes.

Intro to Psych is an "entry level" course, and may actually be REQUIRED for you. If not, the requirements are: checking the appropriate box on the form.

For more advanced courses, the prerequisites are the entry level courses, so just start with Intro to Psych. Stats will help a lot, too.

That very much depends on the college (or colleges) you intend to attend, because requirements vary drastically from school to school. Check the websites for the university departments online. Don't be afraid to email the secretaries of those departments and ask them what students who matriculate into the program usually have in terms of high school classes and SAT scores.
