People keep asking if non-Christians, non-Muslims, non-Jehovas and none-whatevers get to go to heaven.
But what if the Church of the Universal Triumphant is the right one? Just because not that many people adhere to it, doesn't make it false.
So what makes you think you have it right. To quote Homer Simpson: But Marge, what if we chose the wrong religion - then we're just making God angrier and angrier every day.
Is faith a lottery?

Gosh, some of you people are just not getting this. I'm not advocating following the Church of the Universal Triumphant. It's some flaky New age movement. All I'm asking is what makes you think your religion is the right one, and that all those people who tell you their religion is the right one are simply wrong and that you're right?

How can anyone assert there is only one way? So you are saying everyone who lived before yours, and everyone who has never heard of it is a worthless sack of s**** destined for an eternity in whereever YOU decide? Hogwash.

My Faith is based on The Truth of God as given to me personaly at the instant of my Salvation... not upon any "book" or any instruction from any man or from any man invented doctrin or dogma... I study God's Word and seek His Will by the leading of the Holy Spirit, when I am able to overcome the old man in me and allow The Spirit to Work... I know for a fact that there is only One True Chirch..... All who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free gift of Salvation and will beome of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head... those are the ones of The True Christian Faith... only those of The Church will enter Heaven................denominational membership is not a requirement.

ALL Christian churches have a certain element of truth to them. However, my choice for the Catholic Church is that it is the one that goes all the way back to the apostles in an unbroken line. Does your church? Can your church authority do this? My locsl Bishop is Bishop McManus....he himself was ordained a bishop by 3 other bishops. They can trace their authority back through the long line of bishops to one of the apostles.
It doesn't matter whether or not I accept every teensy one of her teachings -- but it was good enough for early Christianity until Martin Luther had to invent something else in 1517. I choose Truth over manmade inventions.

What if I told you that the Baptist church is the "only true church"? I'm secure in my faith and my beliefs, so if you want to think yours is it, I don't care, but let me ask you this, what is their plan of salvation? IF it differs from the Bible, and if their doctrine is not Bible based, then it is a cult and you need to run far away from it. I think its sad you have to quote the Simpson's to make a point for your church though.

Rev 7:9After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10And they cried out in a loud voice:
"Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb."
Since its not a very big religion like you said... I think this passage shows it cant be the only right one then huh?

YOU, use the Christian Language......
But somehow I think that You USE A DIFFERENT DICTIONARY THAN = "THE BIBLE!"
YOU ask for a Response WITHOUT A DEFINITION of the "C-U-T"
The Simpson bible does not Qualify for this Area of Discussion, and = the Facts = = In Evidence = Remain = Obfuscated!
Thanks, RR

i mean, religion is a touchy subject. i dont think its right to say that something is like the one true faith because its offensive to some people. thats belittling to people who believe otherwise. its my personal opinion that worrying about what religion is correct is a waste of time. religion is like a war of the worlds. everyone wants to be right. no one knows who is right so they just nod their heads in agreement to whatever they were taught to believe in. religion to me is basically opinion because no one knows for sure and not everyone will agree.
