It depends on what package the gallant has, and what mileage and features each has. Kelly blue book for the lowest package 02 gallant with avg mileage was $8,200. For the 03 rally they said retail was $10,600. Go to kbb.com yourself and enter in the specifics.

I personally prefer the galant, if it has nice options.

Check Consumer Reports. Personally, I'd look for a Toyota or Honda.
