According to Alton Brown of Food Network, you can mix 1/4 cup unpopped corn and 2 teaspoons olive oil and 1/4 teaspoon salt, place in a brown paper lunch sack stapled shut (that's right...staples) and cook in the microwave for about 2 to 3 minutes, until the popping slows down. I have not tried this yet, but I trust Alton Brown--he cooks great stuff! I am going to try it tonight!

Not a good idea, it is soaked with grease, it would be a fire hazard.
Buy some brown lunch bags at the grocery, they are cheap.

Not if it's the microwave bag, if it is a lunch sack (brown paper bag) yes.
