Whether one is better than the other depends on what you want to do with skating. If you just want to have fun, learn a few tricks, then ISI is great. But if you actually want to SKATE, by all means don't do ISI! ISI is purely recreational, nothing else, and USFSA is what competitive skating is all about. I found that ISI is a wonderful way to learn how to skate and is good until about Freestyle 1, but it doesn't cover all of the areas that you need in order skate well evenly, and you become an inbalanced skater. This happened to me and I am still recovering from it!

Usfsa, because it is competitive. Isi is just for recreational (for fun) skating. ISI does have competitions, but they don't necessary prepare you for the big compettions. If you want to make it to regionals, nationals, workd, olympics, etc. than you can't be in IsI. Most skaters that are in Isi are also in Usfsa, because Isi is just for fun. So, you should just join USFSA.

USFSA is much better because ISI doesn't have the levels to get you all the way to the top,and USFSA does.

ISI is a compitition. USFSA is a test where they put you into a level and you keep getting to better levels. It is NOT a compitition. USFSA shows that you are a good skater though, but very hard! Judges expect a lot~

USFSA. You can go to the Olympics with USFSA, not ISI. I'm joining both, so will see how that turns out...

Its not it is greater advantageous it rather relies upon on what the skater's ultimate purpose is. and you'd be members of the two:) the two have discover ways to skate courses and competitions. i began with ISI while i exchange right into a baby and because have switched to US, (even if I even have memberships in the two, I attempt in US). the undemanding variations are that ISI's purpose is desperate forth for a greater entertainment, greater comfortable ecosystem. They motivate skaters to benefit the basics wherein they may additionally exchange into instructors sooner or later. There are additionally lots of rink proprietors who've ISI memberships. the muse for US is a greater aggressive result, while the final purpose is going to the Olympics. It sometimes relies upon on the rink the place you skate; some rinks have ISI courses at a similar time as others have US courses, and a few rinks have the two. between the rinks I skate at has a joint application, so the skater can come to a decision. many human beings attempt/compete in the two formats:) So it rather relies upon on you, the rink, and what your coach instructs. i could relatively try to objective out the two considered one of them, you get to benefit plenty, meet many human beings, and have exciting!!
