I had the same thing happened to me. I was only 16 but Its a tough spot to be in.. Seeming as I was only 16 it does change things if your older.. I called his parents and let them know what he said. They then took the actions to get him help. If you know his parents or family members that would help him then maybe you should give them a call and see if they can help.. But there is only so much you can do.
I no that they do have "suicide" hot lines. Maybe call them and see what they would say.. Give the number to him...There is only so much you can do..... I wish the best to the both of you...

It's a ploy for him to keep you. Either A. Go back to him and be miserable. Unless you really do love him and want to be with him. B. Tell him to drop dead, and you couldn't care less. or/ C. Call the police and tell them that your boyfriend is going to kill himself. They will bring him to the local mental health hospital and have him commited.
He's using suicide as a way to control you. Don't buy into it. If he needs help, help him. But don't stay with him simply because you are afraid he might kill himself. Be strong!

Honey, you do NOT want to get back together with a man who says he will kill himself otherwise. He is either seriously mentally ill or manipulative. Neither do you want to take the risk he will hurt himself. Counselors say the best thing to do in a situation like this is call 911 and tell them his name & address and that he has threatened suicide. That way, if he is in danger they will help him and if not, he will definitely not call you again!

Do nothing. This is the oldest trick in the book to get you to submit to him. Get on with your life and he will his. You don't need this kind of baggage he is laying on your doorstep, if he is this emotionally sick let someone that knows how to deal with the problem he has do so, don't play doctor or psychiatrist with another's life

If u don't want him then don't waste ur time. He's probably not going to kill himself. Just be really nice about it.

You need to ask yourself if what he did was unforgivable. If it wasn't, call him and talk. Find out what he thinks about why you broke-up.
