Sounds like you've done all you can do at this point. You've admitted fault, and you've asked for a chance to prove yourself.
It is understandable that she would be hesitant in coming back to you, but she must still have some feelings for you or she would not have contacted you saying that she misses you.
She may not be playing games with you. She simply may have mixed emotions about her and your relationship potential. That is a normal response on her part. I'm not sure what the break up was over, or what you did, but she honestly may just need some time to think about where you and she go from here.
If I were you, I would give her the space and time she needs, but as you suggested, you do need to move on with your life. How much time you give her is a judgment call on your part. There is no hard and fast rule because every situation is different, but maybe a month might be reasonable.
Give her time to think about what she wants and you a chance to think about what you want. Whatever caused the break up is something you and she need to openly and honestly talk about, if you have not already done so. I don't mean argue about. I mean talk to each other with respect for one another's feelings. Respect and open communication is huge in a relationship.
Hope this helps a little. I wish you both well whatever happens.

In all honesty from a woman's point of view, I think you did the most honorable thing. You basically gave her the opportunity to make up her own mind without the pressure. So just allow her that space cause women tend to weigh everything about the situation. If she comes back then she loves you just as much if not she still loves you but rather it be from afar. I dont think it is a game. I do think you should be fair and let her know that although you do want to be with her you can not sit and wait if that is the case. I dont know the maturity level between you to but if you are experienced in relationships then i doubt that her focus is on another dude. Since you messed up, do what you are doing and give her space.

If you meant - REALLY meant what you said - then yes, - very good answer. You have to stand behind your words however and move on if you do not receive the reply, any reply for that matter that you wish. There are so many great people in the world. Enjoy "your space" while you have it - time for you. Sometimes having the chance to figure things out on your own can change your outlook on a variety of topics, perhaps even this one, over time. Take care and good luck to you!

Well you did say it was your fault that se dumped you. I don't think she is playing games at all, I think she does miss you and it is confusing her, the best thing to do is to show her that you still care and are willing to change (whatever was your fault) as you stated.Tell her that you will be around. I think what you said was nice and mature. Just give her tha space, trust me most girls will want to either end it or not and am sure in due caurse she will let you know. Good luck.

i like the response, but are you sure you want her and you're really gonna change and make this work - or are you just doing it because you hate losing? because when you say you are moving on regardless, it doesn't show much determination to have your girl back. if you really love her, go see her, tell her about your true feelings and give it one last shot. if it's just the competition... then consider being single for a while and avoid breaking other girls' hearts.
- good luck!

You did exactly what you should of.
You put the ball into her court and let her make up her own mind about it.
What I'd do is message her in a couple weeks and just ask how she's doing. Not anything about you and her, but a genuine question about her well being. I'd tell her that she could rely on you to be there for her for anything.
Then the contact should stop and you can make your peace with it.
good luck, buddy.

Well it depends on what you did that caused her to dump you, it also dependson how close you were and/or are to her. I think you're doing the right thing, apologizing to her and waiting, thats sweet and it reminds me of the song "Take your sweet time" by Jesse mcCartney, however if she doesn't want to go back out then I think you should move on cause hanging on hurts, I know I've been there. :)
Hope this helps, good luck.

Right on target. Now move on. It's out of your control anyway so move on.
Start dating other women. Show her you've moved on on some level. This hardly means being a jack*** about it but she needs to see you with another women.
If she wants you - she'll have you. If not, someone else. Best of wishes.

Just go on with your life, and if she decides to come back think real hard about it first. Do you always want someone to play games with your head? Or do you want someone to be honest, and just tell you things straightforward. Have a long talk about that before going any further and wasting more time.

I think that what you said to her in that text message was perfect. All you can do is wait to see if she decides to come back - you can move on with your life, but try doing some nice things for her in the meantime. Good luck, man =)
