I know ent stands for ear, nose and throat, but i also have heard it means eyes also. eyes, ear nose and throat is this true?

ENT normally do not deal with eyes, unless your allergy or sinus problems are effecting your eyes.

No ENT is Ear, Nose and Throat which is easier to say than Otorhinolaryngologist (or the shorter Otolaryngologist).

Some hospitals have a Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat depart. but they would still have separate Eye doctors (Ophthalmologists) and ENTs.

I have never heard of an ENT dealing with eyes. If I had an eye problem...I would go to an opthamologist. They specialize in eye problems and have the knowledge and equipment that no other doctor has.
