The fifties generation would be appalled with the sense of humor we have today. The 18th century generation would never accept the the 50s sense of humor, it'll be too much from them. You can't really apply your own surrounding as if it's a standard you can use through time and other cultures.

Jesus has no sense of humor. Jesus only knows the truth about God since Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. So if you asked Jesus if He had a sense of humor He would quote scripture to you which isn't much of a sense of humor just telling you the truth from the Bible.

If we're made in God's image, and God created the platypus, then its obvious He has a real good sense of humor, so His son would too. Not to mention He created us, which had to take a pretty fantastic sense of humor.

Sorry, I don't think Jesus had a sence of Humor, but one of Sorrow!

(Luke 13:33-to-35) Yet I must walk today and tomorrow and the day following. For it cannot be that a prophet perish outside of Jerusalem.

(Luk 13:34) Jerusalem! Jerusalem! the one killing the prophets, and stoning those having been sent to her; how often I desired to gather your children in the way a hen gathers her brood under the wings, and you did not desire it.

(Luk 13:35) Behold, your house is left to you desolate. And truly I say to you, You will not see Me until it come when you say, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.

Thanks, RR

He dealt allot with children while on earth and he also created the entire universe. Thus, as creations in his image we also share a sense of humor.

When I read through this passage of scripture i know Jesus had to have smiled when he dealt with the Cannaite woman.

She showed great faith, and it is as if Jesus is testing her to see how deep her faith goes.

read through this passage and see if you come out with the same thought.....

Matthew 15:21-28
21 Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22 A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession." 23 Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, "Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us." 24 He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel." 25 The woman came and knelt before him. "Lord, help me!" she said. 26 He replied, "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs." 27 "Yes, Lord," she said, "but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table." 28 Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

It was after reading a passage in a Max Lucado book called "Why God Smiles" from Max's book "In the Eye of the Storm".

Jesus had to be standing there smiling while asking her the questions he is asking, trying to see just how deep her faith runs and He rewards her faith.

Hope that helps some

Just look at some of his creations and it has to be true. Like pelicans or penguins...there are many things that says he has a sense of humor. Just look at us. We are miracles but, we are funny too.
