I got O- blood too..our blood is GOLD for ppl...especially babies who arent blood typed...be sure to donate...help save some lives!

In the United States, per FDA regulations, you cannot donate blood for money, hence the term "donate". You can, however, sell your plasma, the liquid portion of blood, for a small fee. In my experience, most people that donate plasma are too sorry to work - if you really want to help your fellow humans, donate the real deal at your local blood bank.

I think there are places in the US where you can give blood for money.
However, in at least 3 of the places I've lived across the country (south, east & midwest), we donate for free. It's a total volunteer thing.

you should call the donation center and ask them as i do not recognize on your case. i recognize that if human beings were stationed in or lived in Europe they are barred from donating for 10 years. This because the outbreak of the "mad cow" ailment over there. also in case you're taking animal derived insulins you're barred from donating. sure, they are strict on the regulations of donating blood. notwithstanding the in effortless words thanks to ascertain is to flow to the donation center and ask.
