Another thing people seem to forget is that wars are a natural boost to the economy of the country , look at all the jobs , and contracts awarded to companies that create from bullets to toilet paper and goes to all the service men and women on the front , all the fuel that is required by all the war equipment , no wonder the USA government is going in a hole over expenditures and don't forget is you the tax payers that are footing the bill , each and every one of your dollars is used to support this insane effort .

You're asking this question like we've done this more than once. By this I mean losing a war. We've only lost one war, which was Vietnam. How was it wrong to invade? We went into Iraq because that had weapons that could harm us or any other nation.
People still would of died. Most likely more people, civilians. If saddam wouldn't of died he would of killed more INNOCENT people.
When the Iraqi civilians saw our American Soldiers, they weren't angry they weren't sad. They were happy, because we killed the people that tortured them. We gave them freedom, that they never had before!

When did the US invade Vietnam? As I recall my history they were there at the invitation of the Repubic of Vietnam, and left before the "Democratic Republic of Vietnam" successfully invaded the above mentioned.
