Good Christians LOVE people enough to tell them what God has to say about something they ask about; like homosexuality. It's brought up 50 times a day on this forum. (and NOT by the Christians, most of the time).

First the bible never says accept sin. It says love the sinner and work for their salvation but not accept every behavior and act as ok. Why is sleeping with your mom an issue? Why is adultry or murder an issue? Why was eating an apple such an issue? Why was worshipping God has God commands an issue (Cain and Able)? Why is anything an issue? God has a purpose and a way that is good and true and pure. Anything outside of this is of Satan.

If i was a christian I'd throw a bible verse at you from Leviticus about homosexuality being an abomination. I'd ignore the other laws from Leviticus, you know the ones about eating shellfish and wearing clothes from blended fabrics and stoning disobedient sons. And then I'd ignore any further argument because the bible is the source of all knowledge and you are a homosexual sinner who will burn in eternal hellfire.
But I'm a secular humanist so I think homosexuals should have the same rights as anyone else.

Homosexuality is not an issue for Christians. It is an issue only for the pathetic fundamentalist lunatic fringe of Christianity. Why are the fundies so obsessed with it? I think it is because they are desperately trying to suppress their own insecurities about their sexuality. Real men don't bash gays.

Because you have the fanatics out there trying to save everyone else's soul and forgetting what they learned from the Bible in the process. They insist their way is the only way and forget the Bible teaches diversity and acceptace of others. Instead, these people try to push it down other's throats. It's the fanatics that give the good Christians a bad name.
