First save your important files. Then format your drive C (Go to Command prompt, type format C:). After formatting your drive. Get your Windows XP installation disk, insert it in your disk drive. and start the computer. You can now intall your windows XP.

If you install Windows XP, everything will be gone, and I mean everything. If you want, you should backup all your files in a separate drive, format XP, then reinstall an OEM version. It's not easy if you're not computer savvy.

Good luck.

You have to boot from the disk. Then you can delete everything on the hard drive, including the virus and start fresh and clean.

Good luck!
