The Jw make people who want to be baptized answer 80 questions. Could you show me a apostle of jesus stating that you have to pass a test to recieve baptism? Please give a scripture on it.
Other strange teaching and cult prictices of the JW.
Women must submit to Watchtower elders. Women cannot pray in the presence of men without a hat. Only officially approved sexual practices are allowed in marriage. You must not own wind-chimes (they are for chasing away evil spirits)*. You cannot purchase Christian products (books, music, plaques, pictures etc.)
The Watchtower organization is God's prophet on earth today. God is not omniscient "all knowing". God is not omnipresent
The Holy Spirit is only for select Jehovah's Witnesses.
God only speaks through the "Governing Body" in Brooklyn, New York. Only Jehovah's Witness prayers are heard by God. You must never enter a church building. You must never attend a church service. You can never question what is printed in Watchtower literature.

Wow. What a lie. First let me say that you are reported as you never bothered to ask a question. Second, I saw maybe 3 things that you said that were true. Yes we do answer questions before baptism. No it is not a test or inquisition. When I answered the various questions it was a simple and rather enjoyable experience. The questions asked are simple markers that show whether or not the person being asked has come to know Jehovah and the Bible. They are EASY for most anyone who has spent time learning about God. As to the Windchimes, ROFL. It is true that there are some who choose to not have wind chimes do to the connontations garnered by them in some countries. If we believed that Jehovah ONLY listened to our prayers, then we would not believe any of the times in the Bible when he answered the prayers of others, some who were most DEFINITELY not considered GOOD people. I have heard many experiences of people praying to Jehovah for aid in knowing him, and then being visited right afterwards by Witnesses. If we did not believe nonwitness prayers were heard then we would not believe these experiences.

As to the comments of Zorro, WHAT??????????????

Yes, baptism candidates of Jehovah's Witnesses do demonstrate that they understand and agree with all the basics of Christianity before they qualify for baptism as a Christian. Jesus Christ himself noted the order in which a new Christian would progress. In chronological order for any particular student, a Christian minister would:

1. "make disciples" (or "assist students to meet and demonstrate some minimum qualifications as Christians")
2. "baptizing them"
3. "teaching them to observe all the things" (or "assist bible students to understand and appreciate the entirely of the bible, beyond the basics needed for baptism")

(Matthew 28:19-20) [Jesus said] Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you

It would be preposterous and unscriptural to suggest that a person wholey unfamiliar with the bible, unfamiliar with the Christ, and/or unfamiliar with what his own baptism symbolizes should proceed with the most serious commitment a human can make.

This so-called "question" is filled with lies and inaccuracies about Jehovah's Witnesses. Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

The questionnaire doesn't have to do with being qualified to be baptized, but being qualified to be a legal minister. Active publishers are legal ministers, but without the demand to be paid. In fact, on occasion that can create problems when a witnesses is in ICU at a local hospital. Only family members and ministers are allowed to visit. When my mother was getting a hip replacement, and there were complications, the older ladies in the congregation had to be reminded not to use their Ministerial credentials to gain access to visit her.

Where on earth do you get your info?
When speaking abusively and judgmentally about any group that claims to follow the Christ, one would be wise to follow the counsil of Gamaliel.
Acts5:33 When they heard this, they felt deeply cut and were wanting to do away with them. 34 But a certain man rose in the San´he·drin, a Pharisee named Ga·ma´li·el, a Law teacher esteemed by all the people, and gave the command to put the men outside for a little while. 35 And he said to them: “Men of Israel, pay attention to yourselves as to what YOU intend to do respecting these men. 36 For instance, before these days Theu´das rose, saying he himself was somebody, and a number of men, about four hundred, joined his party. But he was done away with, and all those who were obeying him were dispersed and came to nothing. 37 After him Judas the Gal·i·le´an rose in the days of the registration, and he drew off people after him. And yet that man perished, and all those who were obeying him were scattered abroad. 38 And so, under the present circumstances, I say to YOU, Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; 39 but if it is from God, YOU will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, YOU may perhaps be found fighters actually against God.” 40 At this they gave heed to him, and they summoned the apostles, flogged them, and ordered them to stop speaking upon the basis of Jesus’ name, and let them go.

What is amazing about intolerance, is that it is acceptable to the larger of society until the world also turns on you .
When the governments of the earth eventually turn on all religion, you will also be persecuted. And low and behold, you may just find your self being helped by a JW.
A fair warning from the wise.

I don't know what place you got this false information. the only reason we have to answer questions to get baptized is to know what is in our hearts about Jehovah and Jesus Christ. learn what a cult is. we do not have to submit to an elder. yes they are under Shepard's to Jesus Christ. just like a pastor is in a church. read your bible about the 144,000 and the meek shall inherit the earth. Jehovah wants us to worship him because we love him with our whole heart, soul and mind. why do people think we are strange. we are people with feelings just like anyone else does. we work and live next door to you and pay bills also. we bleed just like anyone else does. there is no passing of a test, the elders just want to know what is in your heart. we are not mark with a passing grade like in school. the more people tell lies about us, the more I love Jehovah and Jesus Christ and know that we have the truth. by the way, you where reported for telling lies about us in both your questions

The "questions" are all Bible based to make sure that one fully comprehends Jehovah's Word, The Holy Scriptures in order to be fully equipped for the ministry--it is approximately a 3 hour quiz, usually taking place in 3 one-hour sessions.

Actually, JW's believe most all of this. But that doesn't mean their teachings don't have merit. We should all diligently research for ourselves to find truth. I could listen to anyone say anything about any religion or denomination, that doesn't make their claims true or false.

P.S. Zorro is way off.

huh? did you breathe in between statements? is this a true confession, true or dare or are you really asking a question cause i can't seem to find one. the jehovah witnesses' are strange but no more than other religious practices. don't like it? don't look. i think they are stranger than strange but i'll give them this: so far they haven't killed, maimed, destroyed, crushed or wiped out other people to aid & further their cause. can't say that about other major religions, now can you?

I agree with the things you said! One other important thing you forgot to mention: The JW's believe in the second coming of a prophet which they claim is Jesus. They believe he came back in the late 1800s which means that all JWs alive today were the ones "Left Behind!" What they all do from that day has no meaning to them whatsoever, unless they repent and seek out legit religion. Cults are usually brainwashed!

I would hope the JW don't really have to pass a test to be baptized. That would be really sad and a total misinterpretation of the Bible on salvation and baptism.
