I think "big thighs" would be anything bigger than what you are comfortable with. I have thought I had big thighs ever since I was in the 3rd grade (yes, I actually remember thinking that). However, other people tell me that my legs are fine. It's totally subjective and there is no answer. Just be happy with yourself or exercise to make it better.

Well, if you're really active, you may just have a lot of muscle, which is a good thing. I feel the same way about my thighs sometimes, but then I remember why they look like that (it's because I'm pretty active) and then I feel better. If you not very active, then you may just have some extra weight there. That's not a problem if you want to loose it. I would suggest doing aerobic activity (running, walking, swimming, etc.) five or six times a week for about 45 minutes a day. Try to eat foods with less fat and sugar and more protein and fiber. Also, look for pants that flatter your legs. This will make you feel good about them. And if you're worrying that others may think you have fat legs if you just have muscle, think again. Muscle and fat looks quite different.

I think its when you look in the mirror and your thighs come out farther than your hips.
