I am a female and to me, it doesn't matter is your a single parent or not a parent at all. However some women might get jealous because they want you to choose them over your child. Now if that was the case, I would have told them to get the hell out of my life. They should know that a parents child always come first and shouldn't make you choose. Or they might not want the babymama drama.

Women who are still single usually don't want to date a man with that kind of baggage. This is not to say that your child is regarded as "baggage"........Your daughter is very important and those who can't accept your "Single Dad Status" have no place in your life. Often women who have never had children before are looking to start a family with a man that can start from scratch...........If a woman is really in love with you and cares for you, it won't matter........That is the one you need!

Being part of any child's life is a big responsibility... maybe the girls you are dating aren't ready for that responsibility or maybe they are just really selfish and don't want to have to share your attention / affection with anyone... to include your child.
Be thankful that they are upfront about not liking your single dad status... you don't want to bring anyone into your child's life that isn't worthy :)

You need to keep on looking until you find the girl that will accept your daughter and will be very special to the both of you.

I dont mind dating a single dad...i myself am a single mom. And there is nothing wrong with it.

They may just not like the idea of having to share you with your kid/kids, and want you all to themselves. Also, they might not feel ready to fill the role of a mother, especially if they're on the younger side.

They are selfish and want you all for themselves. Most women are not like that. Maybe you are dating women that are too young and don't want the responsibility?
