my wife wants to bring her medicines from overseas while traveling from there to USA. she want s to bring medices which she will use for next 6 months

will it cause problem in the Airport customs

Containers should have her name on them. She may also want to get a copy of the prescript from her doctor for documentation. This was required (but not asked for by local officials) for a trip from the US to New Zealand.

If the medicines are prescription, then they should have your (or her) name on the bottle, and it should be fine.
If there is more than a quart, and the medication is NON-prescription, she may have a problem, but not with customs - security is where she will be questioned.

it wont cause any problems at all. i take Tylonel and Aleve on planes all the time
