A fever will break when you do something to bring it down below a certain point. Take Tylenol or Ibuprofen. Place cool washclothes on the pulse points, like the wrists, neck, and on the forehead.
If you have a fever, be sure to drink plenty of fluids

A fever isn't a bad thing unless it's causing you distress, or if it's high in children. It is your body's way of killing off viruses, bacteria. It's a sign that your body is fighting something. So, when you're sick, a low grade fever doesn't have to be treated unless you're feeling particularly bad because of it.

Fever is the body's natural defense to beat infection or a virus. Fever is a good thing, really. The absolutely best thing to do is to drink plenty of fluids, and it should come down on it's own. Ibuprofen is the best thing, it is less hard on the kidneys than tylenol. And for sure rest all you can.

Antipyretics such as tylenol or motrin will help. Dress lightly. Bath in tepid or lukewarm (not cold) water. Cold water drives the fever higher by causing shivering.

take some Tylenol, then take a nice warm bath soak. Make sure when you get out of the bath you have some warm clothes to get into to keep from getting chilled. Then go to bed and rest. Feel Better Soon

Well your body is over heated so I have learned to lower your temp by sitting in some cool water (and gradually make it cooler) and take fever reducers.
