But I find the "quick oats" type makes for a moister cookie.

the instant cook in the bowl type doesn't work well as they have added sugar and salt
The old fashioned ones work best.
The irish cut ones will be ok but the texture won't be great.

Yes, I have. Also soak your rasins (if you are using them) and use brown sugar. That will also help keep your cookies moist

i don't recomment the ones in the packets- instant is not good

the stovetop ones work really well- moist/good
