This morning when I awoke and went outside I saw one of my cats month old kitties and i thought how cute, theyre walking now! but when we went to the back we saw that : one kitty was just dead, another dead with a serious throught wound, another with NO HEAD! and another missing. Like my cat could only save 1 kitty. But she cant get over it and tries to get her other kitties and when we piled them up to bury them she was sniffing them, trying to wake them up, she even took the one with no head and put it next to the live one! I wanna know if there is anything I can do to help her feel better...

Awww! I'm so sorry! I have been through this several times with one of my outdoor girls. She couldn't be caught to be spayed at the time(she has been now), and she had a litter last spring. A dog killed three!!! She cried for so long! She still had three, but....she missed her others!

The only thing I can tell ya is to give her some time and comfront her. Maybe give her some treats or CAT milk from the pet store. If it's at all possible, put her in a garage or basement until the kitty gets big enough to take care of its self.

Good luck!

as quickly as you fed it, it grew to become a puppy. As for what do you ought to have achieved after it exchange into heavily injured by the cat...take it to the vet and suck-up the $50 or so value to have it placed down...or bypass away it to die. As for the cat, get a cat seize, and take it to the pound every time you hit upon it on your backyard. As with a dogs, a cat would desire to never be enable-out off a lead or chain. Even moreso with a cat, simply by fact a single cat enable-out for some hours an afternoon daily, will possibly make 2-3 kills in keeping with day of toddler birds, squirrels, etc... sturdy success!

I do animal rescue, so a few things may help. The first is just know this will take time. The best thing is to call around to local shelters and try to find if they have motherless kittens that still need to nurse. If your cat is this distraught, she may easily adopt them and the shelters would prefer to have them nursing, if possible. Whatever did this WILL come back - if you can keep them inside, please do so. If not, make a shelter for her and the baby close to the house with an opening just big enought for them to get into. Another alternative is to get kitten sized & shape stuffed animals (beanie babies work wonders) and put them with the live kitten.

She'll get over it, it's instinct for her to keep trying. Cats dont have the logic to comprehend death and their instincts prevent it.

When I gave some of my litters of kittens away in the past, the mother would still walk around the house calling them and looking everywhere. But in time, it will pass.

Another part of the instinct thing is that she needs to get rid of that milk in her teats. It does hurt after it builds up. Only having one kitten now, will not help relieve her too much, but her body will adjust to that fact and not produce as much milk.

Unfortunately there is really nothing you can do. You could call the local shelter or see if there are any motherless kittens out there and they could nurse on your cat. I feel so bad for you. That is a very tragic accident. Best of luck!

I think you should give the mother cat special treatment if that doesn't work then you should buy kittens that look like her old kittens
and she will probably accept those kittens and forget about here other dead ones

I'm so sorry! Like the person above said, I would be crying my eyes out too. Unfortunately, I don't think you can do anything to help her. Let nature take her course and she will soon get over it. It's really good that she has the one kitten left. It will help her get over it faster.
