I was thinking about dyeing my hair with manic panic's Raven Black or Purple Haze. Naturally I have blonde hair. How would it turn out? Can you give me some tips? Thank u!

Any dye on blond hair usually works out pretty well. ( in that it takes, blond is like having a blank slate, especially if it's a lighter blond) If you decided to opt for black beware as it is the hardest to change back from ( you either have to wait until it grows out or bleach it). You might have to do this with Purple Haze as well ( I'm not familiar with the hue).

As to when you're dying it, don't shampoo for at least a day ( it takes better), vasaline around the ears to prevent dying your skin ( it's happened so many times when I've done my hair black!), portion out hair( using clips/barettes) and make sure your color is even from the root to the ends, unless an uneven look is what you're going for. Finally make sure you have enough dye for the length of your hair.

Good luck and have fun!

using manic panic on blonde hair works out very very well..one of my best friends used to dye her hair with manic panic like with the pinks and the greens and her hair was bleach blonde so i now for a fact it works very well on blonde her..it will fade quickly though..so be sure to keep apply it every so often. but manic panic is some of the best stuff and it works sooo much better when you have lighter hair.

Probably not very well. Since your hair is not processed, leaving the cuticle more porous, the product tends to 'stain' the hair instead of dying it. The results may end up looking rather blue or gray. Not a good look! If you really want to do it I suggest lightening it first. Before you do so you might want to try on wigs in the colors your thinking of. It's hard for a natural blonde to pull off such a drastic change without looking freaky!

No, it won't. that's a dye, not a hair shade. Please notice the adaptation. on the grounds that's a dye, it reacts in yet otherwise than does a hair shade. that's going to "stain" the hair, and at a similar time as the quite a few colour debris will wash out, the stain never will. you will continually maintain a sprint of the colour, enormously some thing darkish like black, and that's going to be there until you decrease that hair off. you at the instant are not likely to be waiting to discover any hair shade product which will make your hair black "for a speedy time" and could wash out. that is going to be an impossibility. Any coating shade you utilize, including semi-permanents, will bypass away a stain, and could take it slow to get out. You different answer is theatrical hair makeup. that's considered one of those greasy coating on the hair, and you gets particularly darkish colorings that way. It does not enable the hair to circulate and bounce like genuine hair (it has stuff on it), even although that's going to assist've black "for a speedy time". on the grounds that's a grease-type product, you will desire to be waiting to bathe it out extremely actual. there is likewise the spray-on colorings, oftentimes available at Hallowe'en, yet i've got not seen it in black (all different glitter colorings available). it is like colored hairspray, and could wash out next shampoo. finally, what a pair of wig? that's the simplest thank you to get black for a speedy time without inflicting any injury on your hair, which any everlasting hair shade could do. earlier you do something, confirm you be responsive to precisely what the result would be. Do a strand attempt, just to verify. you do not prefer to confirm AFTER the certainty that it won't be able to be bumped off!
