The haircolor box says to use the color on unwashed (for at least 24 hours) hair. My hair has not been washed in a couple of days, and I have hair products like straightening serum and hairspray in it. Can I use the haircolor with these other products in my hair and still get good results? Or, should I wash my hair, then wait until the next day to color? Thanks!

i wouldn't try it. it might mess up the coloring stuff and your hair might end up looking really weird, or it could get damaged. if i was you i'd rather wait another 24 hours before coloring it, because that's better than messing up your hair and having to wait even longer for it to grow out. you should wash your hair and wait 24 hours without putting anything in it.

Semi permanent dyes don't take to hair as well as permanent dyes because they arnt meant to stay there. Having already dying your hair this may be the reason why it won't take at all. I would suggest not using semi because after a few washes it looks terrible

Wash your hair and then wait 24 hours to color it. Also, don't forget to do the allergy test.

you should wash your hair so that you don't have different porosities of your hair(so it doesn't absorb differently) but you shouldn't need to wait 24 hours to color it. but that is up to you if you want to i guess.
