My wedding is taking place this July and although I have been engaged for 5 months, I still haven't decided on my sedding colours. I am considering rose and sage with ivory. Any thoughts on this combo?

I'm using ivory and sage but you can use pink and green too, they go really well together.

I think those colors sound great! I had a winter wedding and had red, black and white. I was amazed at how wonderful the pictures came out with those colors. Love the rose, sage and ivory.

Getting married in July as well. My colors are celadon green, cream with hints of lavender. It's a very muted palette, but I'm not one for very bright colors. Ivory, sage and rose go together excellently, and it;s a great classic color combo for summer.

Well you want to think about the season, the surroundings at your reception hall, etc. if your getting married in a place that has burgundy for example you don't want to pick yellow. usually your colors are pretty much the theme so to speak and you carry that through out the wedding. The problem I see with brides is that if they have red brides maids dresses, they want to have red flowers also. It is ok to choose complimentary colors. Something that goes with the main colors. But you should pretty much stick with the 'theme' just not as to confuse the eye.

That sounds lovely...mine was an Oct wedding and my colors were burgundy, mauve, and ivory...I like the idea of ivory instead of white...and the rose and sage you have chosen are unusual...sounds great!

Those colors sound lovely. Have you asked your future husband what colors he might like.? If he agrees with your choose . Then go with them. There are lots of shades of rose you could have.A dark dusty rose for your maid of honor and lighter colors of rose for the braid-maids. The flowers in the wedding can match the colors you chose. Best of luck. I was married in July and I had similar colors.

That sounds very pretty!

I had burgundy and rose with ivory, for a May Day wedding. My maid of honor used periwinkle, rose, and yellow (these were very, very pale) for an August wedding.

Those colors sound pretty. But they also sound boring. If you really like them, go for it...it's YOUR wedding. Otherwise, I'd branch out a bit and take advantage of the wonderful summer color combos you can play with...peachy oranges, ocean blues...there are a number of things you can do to have beautiful bright, summer colors!

Congrats.

What you shoulds do is go to a dress store and ask them for some color swatches and put the colors u like next to each other and see how they look and that will have you pick them..

Or look for the dress you like and see what colories it comes in and put the colours together and there u go ;)

P.s u can also match the girls up with the guys color tuxes~
But something u have to get swatches..

Good luck ~

I believe those colors would look absolutely elegant... you could even go a dark rose color since you are using sage and ivory to brighten it up.... such a pretty color combo.
