I have been seperated 14yrs and have two grown up children from my marrage. A girl i was seeing decided to get pregnant and had the child over a year ago. I'm paying maintenance to both houses since. Not much left for socialising. I'm not involved with the woman who had the baby and don't want to be though i do see the child. Have i too much baggage for a new woman

You have too much baggage for anyone! You got a woman pregnant and you say SHE DECIDED TO HAVE A BABY! And you call YOUR baby THE CHILD? No woman who knew this would want you, unless she is just looking for the same thing you 'gave' the other 'girl'. You ever heard of 'growing up'?

I think your OK you pay maintenance and see your children that is a very good quality you have so no you don't have too much baggage just be careful you don't have another child until you are well and truly sure a good man in my eyes fair play to you

Not really! You just made bad decisions. Don't give up just yet. I feel you deserve to be happy as well. There are women out here that support men and their problems. We are all grown here. I don't got time for all that kiddie mess. People make mistakes or chooses wrong paths. All you can do is deal with it and move on. We are not getting any younger. Someone will come along that's right for you and understanding.

Get a second job and start socialising, having a 'History' of some kind does not constitute to a miserable life. Everyone has a story to tell, its what you do in future that makes a difference.

I think single young women who want to marry (I mean, for the first time) and have a family aren't likely to be interested in you because of that: as you say, too much baggage.
But there are still plenty of other women left:
1) women in similar circumstances to yours, and
2) women who do not want to have children at all,
might be interested in someone like you. Why not?

No there will always be someone willing to take on kids. You say she decided to get pregnant though, that may put someone off, it takes two people to have a child, you didn't have to sleep with her. Unless she was missing her pill on purpose, that's a different story.

OK i really hate to be picky BUT HOW EXACTLY DID SHE DECIDE GET HERSELF PREGNANT?? surely you could have used CONTRACEPTION? CONDOMS?
Anyhow all that aside if you are a genuine person and someone falls for you then it doesn't matter how much baggage you have they will love you despite it all.
