i was tryin to put ma sound volume icon n ma taskbar, i really need help, please please.(i tryed it says :windows cant display ur volume control on da taskbar cuz the program its not install, to install it use add or remove program on control panel) bt i went to conrol panel add or remove prgmm but it didn't nething say volume control please help?/?

If you goto control panel, sounds, there should be a checkbox that says Put volume control on taskbar. Check that.
If you are saying thats what you did, and you got that message about its not installed, then that means your sound card is not working. Verify that you don't have an Exclamation mark, in device manager, which would mean the card is not working properly (likely because the drivers are not installed).
Device Manager is right click My Computer, choose properties, click Device manager button. Look for Sound
