My period was due on Tuesday, Jan 9th. I usually am regular every 28 days. I ALWAYS have protected sex but am still scared I am pregnant. I took two pregnancy tests (EPT and First Response) on 2 days late and 5 days late... both were negative. I was really sick this week with the flu and am still getting over it. Can that probably have something to do with it? I am also SO Stressed that I am thinking it will never come unlesss i calm down. What is wierd is that I have had cramps for about 4 days but then they stopped. Has this happened to anyone else?

the tests i took were DEF neg... there were not any faint lines

Yes it has .The fact that you have been sick can mess up your period ,wait till the next one is due be for you worry .Take care of your health .Best Wishes .

Are you sure HPT came out clearly negative? when I got pregnant, the results of HPT were so faint that I just took it as negative.
When my period was about a week late HPT came out still faint but I could see that it was positive.
If you are pregnant it might be too early to test it.
Also your diet, weight and stress can affect your cycle.
So maybe u should give it some time and test again

It's perfectly normal for someone who is always regular to skip or just be late due to stress or being sick... and being that your are sick AND stressing out, you are causing your body to get "thrown off schedule." Just calm down and worry about getting over your flu. If you are still late a week from now, go to the doctors and get a blood test.

perhaps the climate rather CAN impression classes! i exchange into 6 days previous due for my periond this final time. i exchange into meant to get it on 10-sixteen, and it got here on the twenty first! i'm never previous due the two! i'm oftentimes on a 25 day cycle, like clockwork. the only time I even have ever been previous due exchange into while i exchange into pregnant with my son. perhaps that's the certainty that October throws your cycle off. I took 2 tests, the two destructive, and a couple of days later my era confirmed up. sturdy success! you will desire to start your era in some days, with a bit of luck. :)

It's because your stressing that your period is late if you are not pregnant, and if you are... you may not be showing yet on a pregnancy test. Go get a blood test done that'll confirm it for you.

i doubt you're pregnant. i had this happen to me in oct. my period was three weeks late and i was having mild cramping around the time i was expecting my period! i took 2 HPT and both were negative. stressing about your period will delay it even more so try to relax.
