The way I make it is a little unusual but it works great. Put 3 small Lipton tea bags or one family size in your coffee maker's basket and use a full pot of water. Take it off the heat as soon as the water has gone through and the carafe is full or the tea will get dark and not be as flavorful. If you want sweet tea put the sugar in while the tea is hot. The sugar dissolves better this way. Let it cool and serve over ice. Yum!

1. Get a gallon jar or pitcher of your choice. 2. Fill it with hot water, (boiling would be acceptable as well but wait for it to cool before putting it in glass). 3. Put in 4-6 regular sized tea bags or 1-2 large tea bags. 4. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes. 5. Remove teabags and chill infridge with ice cubes. 6. Serve over ice woth any sweeteners you'd like! Enjoy! :)

okay, this is how we in the south do it,
1 put some water and about 6 tea bags in a little pot
2 put the pot on the stove at high
3when the water starts to boil take it off the heat
4 get a pitcher (normal sized) and put 8 scoops of sugar in it
5 hold the strings of the tea bags and pour the water that's in it into the picter, fill the pot up with water again(don't heat up) and pour that water in- do this one more time
6 fill the rest of the pitcher up with water out of the spicket until it's full
7 stir the mixture up until sugar desolves
8 put in the refrigerator until chilled
9 get a glass of ice and pour some tea in it
there yall go! Ice tea!

for a gallon of tea use like 4 bags and boil with water till the water is dark, then add sugar and fill the rest of the way up with water stir, add ice and enjoy ( i sometimes boil the bags a couple of times for the same batch and make the tea a little bit stronger instead of using just straight water to fill it the rest of the way up)

Bowl water in a 2 quart pot. Turn it off, put in three family size tea bags, cover, and let it seep for about 20-30 minutes. This will make one gallon. Pour this into a gallon container, and add water to fill.

Make tea the normal way and then put it in the refrigerator.

I personally make tea with milk and sugar but you could skip the milk and add lots of sugar.
