Pink and Brown have been very popular this season...I like bright colors also, but March is not really a bright month, it is still snowy and cold. I think it would be a dreamy idea to have different kinds of greens or blues. You could always accent little things with pink. If you do green you could have white roses with a few rink mini roses or something. If you do green you could maybe come up with the Lucky theme and use shamrocks and pots of gold.
Have fun...what people say on here does not mean you need to do it. If you like pink and bright colors go for it. If you love it, everyone else will love it also.

Hi there,
Take a look at the attached link - it features loads of theme and colour ideas and the sites has lots of other planning info on there too. I would normally suggest that the theme and colour scheme are two of the first things to organise, so with a wedding in less than three months, I really would suggest getting cracking with things sooner rather than later.
Good luck and hope this helps.

I'm also getting married in March - an excellent month to choose!
We are going with black and white with some silver thrown in for sparkle. My bridesmaids are in black, except the little one who is in pewter and on the tables we have silver sparklers, party poppers and fairy lights in glass bowls. All the flowers are going to be white either roses or tulips wrapped in silver ribbons.
If I hadn't done that, then I was thinking of a really multi-coloured theme, like a kid's birthday party with bright pinks and yellows and turquoise and green. Very bright and fun and a bit different. Then you can have a beautiful mixed bouquet and even get different colours for your bridesmaids. Put kids sweets and balloons on the tables for the reception and enjoy the fun!
Good luck!

we've found the best thing to do it to make loads of things youself, it really cuts down on the price and be creative. W made our own invitations so you can have them as bright as you like, if you like flowers you cold dry some and use them on your cards to make them really personal. The best idea we have had so far I think is instead of having favour bags for everyone we've got hundreds of little metal puzzles of eBay and put them in small boxes. People will be occupied and will certainly remember it, there a good conversation starter too. Don't be afraid to go wild if that's the sort of wedding you want, and shop early this is a good time to buy wedding stuff as January is a slow month. Best of luck and enjoy everything. (I'm getting married in 5 days now!!!) CONGRATULATIONS

I am getting married on March 3 ~ my colors are Teal and Silver. I love the color Teal, however since it's such a bold color, I added Silver to tone it down. Most of the weddingis in Silver and I used Teal here and there to bring out the color a bit. If you like pink, just Bright Pink but only to accent and use Silver. I personally think you can't go wrong with Silver.

I think a Bright Pink can be paired with most anything.
You can pair it with Yellow to keep with the early Spring theme - tulips, etc.
Or go for something more contemporary like Pink & Cholcolate Brown - or believe it or not, Pink & Orange are a hot color combo right now.

Go to your local library and look at the wedding books. There are books out there that feature celeb weddings for less, or that will give you ideas on how to have a memorable wedding on a budget.

Try www.theknot.com if you haven't yet. They will have a TON of hints to help you!
Also, check out the book "Bridal Bargains" at your local bookstore. They guarantee to save you at least $500...and it is a fantastic book.
Just do something that fits you and your fiance's personalities. If you're not superglam people, then don't try for a superglam wedding. Your comfort is most important here.
Congrats!

I agree with the pink & orange suggestion! I love those colors together. That was the choice for our colors at first, but then we changed it to platinum and white to match our site a little better. But I still love pink & orange!
