my freind led me on for 3 yrs telling me that he wasn't ready for a relationship so after getting a call from his gf we found out he had 11 women and 1 escort on the side.

Men are players because they have short attention spans. They want to sample as many women as possible. They are not insecure or they wouldn't have the confidence to go after as many women as they do. Stay away from these type of guys. Go for the nice guys you know who they are.

I've been accused of being a player before. To be completely honest, I just have not found a woman that can hold my attention. I try to never lead girls on and let them think we're more serious than we are. I doubt I'm insecure, I think its the opposite. I'm sure of who I am and what I want and I don't feel the need to stay in a relationship where I'm not happy.

Men play women sometimes for personal benefit, just because they have nothing else to do with their lives. They do it because some guys like to party and never really settle down. Sometimes a guy can have a lot women to be a player, so he can get the satisfaction he is after, but does not stay with one woman long, that is why he has multiple. He could do this because he is insecure or just plan immature. Sometimes it about impressing people and getting them to like you because you want them to like you. That is not a good way to keep a woman, much less get a woman, He could get a woman by just him being himself and using his brain like it was intented to with a little common sense.

Usually, 'players' are people who are insecure about one thing or another, though it may or may not be related to their social status.
Having lots of women is very similar to a pack instinct; have more mates generally means that the male is the Alpha, and therefore supreme.

Yes. Men generally feel insecure. They need alot of women to feed their ego. They want other men to know many women "want" him. Yes, he is in secure. The more women he has, the more secure he feels. Why are you asking?

obviously who ever you are talking about hasnt grown up enough to realize how important it is to have real love, honesty, and comitment with someone and dosent think much of himself either if he thinks hes a big shot because he has lots of women. it takes a man to love one woman with everything he has, it takes a boy to play a game though
