The u.s. is an overweight, lazy, ignorant, nerdy, couch potato with no friends and no freedoms.
Canada is a fit, athletic, well educated, sophisticated, entrepeneur welcomed all over the world and free to come and go as they please.

They are what most people consider North America, along with Mexico--which is having a bit of trouble right now, as most know.

I've been to Canada, but only for short trips. I'd hardly want to live there in the winter (cold), but it's a little cooler than the southwest US in summer.

It was decent of Canada not to deport draft dodgers during the Vietnam War--after all, these men were pardoned later, anyway. Parts of Canada use French as their main language, other parts use English. Most likely children are taught both in school.

I understand that Canada is very clean compared to the US. That would be nice for a change.

I'm American but Ive lived all over Canada.I love my country and I also enjoy Canada very much. Its not cold and barren nor is it mostly socialists. Its city's are great and offer all the things we have here. They have beautiful provinces and freedom to stretch your arms wide. The people are friendly and helpful.
I do prefer my own home of course because it too offers many things.I am a native born flag waving American born in the USA.
But I do really like Canada.

shale....... you live in a world of delusions....Your hate for the USA is hanging out all over the place.

I know its the chic thing to do now days ,but this hate for American has run its course.Who's the first country the USA bashers come crying to when they need help or protection.?

Depends. USA is better for career opportunities. Canada is better to raise a family. At least in my opinion.

It's a matter of opinion. If you live in Canada, you'd probably say Canada. If you live in the USA, you'd probably say USA. Opinions are like @zzholes, everybody's got one.

Does Canada have George Bush Jr. making their decisions? I think not. Vote Canada!

You cant compare them.

The US is a super power and thus has security considerations we dont have in canada.

Canada might be a better place to live and the US a better place to be successful but it all depends on to many factors to name
